On July 15, 2025 JRI Health gave an update to the Board of Health about their Program RISE SPOT: Syringe Pinpoint Observation Tool. This online survey helps communicate the locations of improperly discarded syringes in public spaces so they can be retrieved and safely disposed of. The initiative promotes community safety, centralizes response efforts, and raises awareness through harm reduction and public education.

Program RISE, a program of JRI Health, is a multi-service integrated community prevention program offering health and social services to people in the Metro West area. Our services include free Counseling & Testing for HIV, Viral Hepatitis and STIs; PrEP & PEP; treatment for STIs and HCV; Medical and Housing Case Management for people living with HIV; HIV Peer Support Services; Harm Reduction & Overdose Prevention Services; and Community Education, Trainings and Outreach.
